Guide for final discussion in the videoconference
“Leadership Link” of the YABT, July 10th and 12th, 2002
In
the videoconference “Leadership Link”, the Young Americas
Business Trust presents its project “Business Laboratories” which
aims at the integration of case studies, experimental shops, enterprise
simulations and other practical elements in the curricula of vocational schools
and other programs of business education.
In
this project, videoconferences like the “Leadership Link” or
tele-seminaries can play a crucial role in several aspects:
a)
in
the identification of successful models and projects
b)
in
regional courses for lead trainers who will be the future coordinators of the Business
Laboratories
c)
in
national courses for trainers
d)
in
courses for the young students
The
last part of the videoconference “Leadership Link” shall thus
deal with this question. To ease the discussion we would like to ask you to
consider the following questions in advance:
1.)
Would
you like to participate in similar conferences like the Leadership Link in the
future?
2.)
What
issues would you like to discuss in a videoconference?
3.)
Could
you imagine preparing the content of a future videoconference or a
tele-seminary and leading the discussion or the seminary?
4.)
Do
you think that videoconferences and tele-seminaries are an efficient way to
teach business education models and methods?
5.)
What
do you consider as the mayor benefit or mayor problem in the integration of
videoconferences or tele-seminaries in the training of teachers of vocational
schools and business education courses?
6.)
What
do you expect from the YABT serving as a link between different institutions?
What changes do you suggest for future videoconferences?
